This remains our favorite burger restaurant. I posted a review about a month ago saying that the food is always amazing but the service leaves a lot to be desired. They must have hired a front of house manager since that time. Our experience today was entirely different, from a service perspective. We were greeted upon entering (which didn't happen before) seated immediately and our waitress was very attentive. She took the time to explain the specials and give us some insight on future menu changes. She interacted with our kids and was genuinely friendly. We still love it here and look forward to seeing new items show up on the menu.

I've been here 4 times now and I really want to like it more but the food quality has been very inconsistent from poor to average. The burger buns are a great choice for the type of burgers they serve; however, the hamburger itself has usually been under seasoned and over cooked. Most of the other main dishes served are average at best. The cheese curds and, and strangely sweet, coconut curry soup need to rethought.

Went here for lunch on a whim with my husband yesterday. We were promptly seated by the window at a table that was not exactly stable. We asked to share a beer flight between the two of us while waiting for our food which was a great choice. We shared the classic burger and both got the Thai soup. Classic burger- it was rather large I am glad we shared and had a bit too much mayo on it. It was a bit messy but it was okay. I figured since it was $10 plus it would be excellent but was just meh. Soup- The flavor of the broth with the coconut milk was amazing. I just wish the chicken was not in such huge chunks. I swear half my little cup of soup was chicken. Due to how expensive this place is I had to say it was okay. The cost of the food does not stand up to the quality we received.

I've been to Brickhouse twice, once for beers and take out and again for beers and dinner. I was impressed with their beer list, offering a lot of variety as well as a few eclectic choices. There's also the standard Miller, Bud and Coors if you're not adventurous. The service at the bar and at a table were both great with the staff knowing what they're talking about when it comes to beer. I thought the burger menu was cool with a number of original burger offerings as well as a build-your-own option. FYI, the burger is a double-patty so it's a pretty large burger. On my first visit, I ordered their classic burger and fries to-go. Everything was top notch and great tasting. On my second visit, I got their chicken wings and fries. These were also really good. The only thing I hope that they do is outfit their existing patio and offer service out there too.

Really disappointed in this establishment. The burger (which is supposed to be their specialty) was not very good. It was very bland. Not worth at all what it cost. The craft beer was not very good either. There IS a good selection of craft beer if that's what you like but I wouldn't waste my money on the food again. The interior is very nice however it was freezing cold. We opted to eat on the patio after freezing inside. They have a smaller but nice patio. if you want to sit in the sun and drink craft beer, and you have money to spare, this place might be okay for you. Otherwise... Don't waste your money.

Great service, thanks Amanda, we were offered samples for tasting, both food & drinks. We ordered the BYOB, great to be able to customize your own burger! Very good beer selection, will definitely come back.

I wanted to update my review after a return trip to Brickhouse. I was so excited about the different menu we had experienced on our last visit but they have now changed the menu to the one they had posted online. All our food was good, service was timely, however I really miss the old menu which had a much greater variety of chicken sandwiches, paninis, and an awesome tomato soup! I would LOVE to see more variety back on the menu again! This time our table shared the pretzel breadsticks, we loved the mustard dip but the beer cheese dip seemed floury, like we got the bottom of the batch. My husband had one of the burgers which he liked A lot, with the same awesome fries, I had a wedge salad which was HUGE! Definitely a dinner sized salad!

A new spot for "craft" burgers and craft beer has opened locally so we thought we would give ti a whirl. They are super happening at the moment so expect to wait. That's all right as long as your dinner is worth the wait . However... We were seated near a window which was entirely too drafty. I'm not exaggerating here. there was a cold breeze coming in through the window right onto our table. the solution was t move the table toward the center of the room and away from the draft. OK but since you just refurbished the joint how about putting some windows that seal on it? That's OK right? We are gonna have some good eats, right? Well sorry to say the service was entirely too slow. Time from being seated to actually having dinner was nearly an hour. The nice young man apologized and noted he had a big table in addition to us. OK but that's hardly my issue. Talk to your manager if you can't handle the load. We did have a poutine appetizer which was pretty good but I found it odd that our server never gave us plates to eat the appetizer from and waited until we finished the appetizer before taking our dinner order. Inexperience? I'm not sure but it made the whole dinner stretch out and we were beginning to feel that cold breeze from the drafty window. We all ordered burgers with the exception of my young daughter who ordered mac & cheese. The burgers were all OK but kind of overdone and just kind of weird. Not anything I would want again. My son had a BYOB (build your own burger) with bacon and cheese curds. There were hardly any cheese curds on the burger (see my photo) and this was a $12.95 burger. Now he could have had up to six other topping but he wanted this as there really wasn't an option on the menu for a bacon cheeseburger. i don't feel this was a good value at all. I think for what they are asking the burgers need to be better. Additionally my daughter hardly touched her mac & cheese and then felt ill. She went to the bathroom and told us she felt like she was going to vomit which she promptly did once we got outside. So goodbye mac & cheese. She felt much better after getting rid of that mac & cheese. Unfortunately we've found another local restaurant we won't return to. I don't think the service was at all up to snuff. The food was mediocre at best and is premium priced. I imagine if I went in and had some beers the food might be better. But there are much better choices in the area for burgers

I was there with a party of 12 last week. The service was very slow to get to our table. When she got to our table to take our drink order she was fine. Then she took a very long time to get back to us. I was patient because the place was very busy and she had to walk up and down the stairs. She was also the only waitress. However things We're still very slow. She needed to be more organized and management should have given her help. We finally put in our food order. Waited 2 hours to get our food back. I was the first to order and last to get my food. The food was very flavorful but extremely greasy. Most of US didn't finish our meal. I had food poisoning. Come on Brickhouse. You can do better.

A nice setting, nice friendly service but pretty disappointed with the food. The menu doesn't have a very big selection and it's hard to choose from what they do have because most of the burgers don't sound too appetizing. And it's over priced. $10.50 and up for their burgers. If they tasted amazing I could understand this but that is not the case. First of all, you can tell they put frozen patties on the grill because they are gray, soggy, and tasteless. I got the mushroom burger and they slathered this gross gravy on it that tasted like it was made out of lard and dirt. I could only eat half. You can only eat the burgers with a fork because they're so soggy. The person that went with me got the brickhouse burger and that one was extremely soggy as well. We both ended up getting sick a few hours after the meal. Not going there again :(

After coming here several times my tune has changed a bit. Service is great and the rotating beer taps are solid too. Burgers are enjoyable but they need to do away with the 2 patties. You don't get to choose how your burger is done, because they're too thin. I'm guessing this was done to cook quicker to improve service. Also be prepared to smell like fryer oil as the ventilation in the building is horrible and you quickly smell like grease. I also ordered the onion rings after seeing a nice tower of expertly cooked rings. When I ordered them I got a loaf of onion straws which all clumped together, probably because they clumped together at the bottom of the fry basket. While they were good, a loaf of onion rings? This place has potential but I think I'll be going down the road to Nicky's.

I would give this restaurant 4.5 stars right now, and easily could see it being a five star restaurant. The food is great. I recommend the cheese and ale soup, and the beer fries. I had the Brickhouse burger and enjoyed it very much. They have a terrific beer selection. Service was a little slow, but that's to be expected at a new restaurant. The service was very friendly. The music they were playing was great. Keep it up!

Not bad, not amazing. The menu is right but the execution isn't there. Burger patties overcooked and so was the egg on my burger (cooked overhard). Waldorf salad was terrible. Fries are good and so was the kids mac and cheese, which appeared homemade. Good beer selection. It was seat yourself but they didn't have a sign saying so. We waited a few minutes before a waitress told us. Service was fine.
